This is just pure genius man. Nice work especially the tongue at the end hahahaha

samulis responds:

Well I wasn't satisfied with the ending and I couldn't come up with anything more beautiful and passionate.

Sounds great.

stunkel responds:

Thanks! :D

dude this IS EEEEEEEEEEPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICC

well whatever you call it sounds nice that twangy sound is cool what did you do?/use
very reminiscent of some ps1 platformer gamers
i love the melodic theme though more variations wouldve been great
also some more bass

but nonetheless i like this/ (cant seem to rate it as the rate bar cant be seen)
and im looking forward to more of your work

LunacyEcho responds:

Wow, steampianist! Thanks for commenting!

Since I used Garageband to make this, most people probably wouldn't have any idea what I'd be talking about, but to make the sound, I used the appropriately titled 'Twang Kit' from one of the Jam Packs.

When I made this and songs before it, I tended not to use much bass. Now that I have much better earphones, I think there's definitely going to be a lot more bass in my future.

Thanks a lot, steampianist. I really respect your work and am glad you took the time to comment on this.

this is awesome i love how it gives that video game vibe (nintendo)

but the ending... T_T

johnfn responds:

Haha yeah honestly it should just loop but I was paranoid. The last time I did a loop in Ableton it came out really bad for some reason. Nintendo games have a really warm vibe to them. I think it's mostly the strings.

this is some powerful stuff dude i enjoyed it despite the whole seems to be one big cresecendo of intensity (that is the point hehe) but i think the ending shouldve been just as heavy.

i love the percussions? what did you use

yeah.. magazine... by Fangoria... jk.

seriously though this is really catchy and this song reminds me of a pop-ish version of depeche mode or maybe Freezepop.. ill say one thing though i think the high ends is a bit much (minor)... but whatever the song is still great.

headphoamz responds:

Aw steam! That's so nice of you, thanks :3

i secretly enjoyed the fight and wanted to do a review but realized didnt want my petty review to be next to skye's and step's review so instead

anyway i disagree with people here this work is danceable (the beat is probably too alien for them). although you might look weird like napoleon dynamite or something hehe but nevertheless danceable

although its not a problem for me but people might say that your melody is repetitive but for me its sounds cool but im not a fan of that glitching cymbals.

dont have much to say anymore so with that over all good mixing and idk for me its really danceable

johnfn responds:

Heheh well thanks for sneaking and reviewing a piece that they'll probably miss ;-P

I actually had some trouble with the glitching too, like the glitching vst I was using was really unreliable because it'd randomly started sounding different. I was hoping that it would sound right in the render, but sometimes it was off. :/

I think it's funny that you could dance to this. Maybe you are an alien =D (That would explain a lot about your music actually...)

If NGADM taught me one thing it was how to mix well. It used to take me SO LONG to mix. Now I can mix down practically while I write the song. It's kind of an amazing thing.

Hey Man!!!

im really loving these industrial noises!!

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thanks man, I appreciate it. :)

wonderful! wonderful singing!! i think the reverb is just fine. such minor details like that is overpowered by your voice and your harp :)

etherealwinds responds:

Thank you Steamy :)))
